Photographer David Butler was commissioned by the KSV Agency to create this lush out of home campaign. Below is a behind the scenes view at Davids studio, showing how stylist Darcy Hammer/Anchor Artists created the live plant wall, with the product nestled in. David lit the set to highlight the lush plants and the clean white product. The image is now featured on the side of a building in Brooklyn, NY. See the final placement below!

Photographer David Butler for Revolution Cooking

Revolution Cooking and Motiv Design commissioned Photographer David Butler to create packaging imagery to showcase features of the new model, the R270 Revolution Toaster. David and his team captured dynamic product shots of the toaster as well as mouth watering food details.

For the toaster side panel image, David shot the waffles with a dark background to create a dramatic level of taste appeal.

Director Tim Llewellyn Shoots iRobot

Boston-based Director and Photographer Tim Llewellyn along with his production company, Copper Hound Pictures was commissioned by Motiv Design to create the new iRobot Customer Care Videos. With its new Roomba j7 Vacuum release, iRobot is reinventing the way people clean. This model packs high functionality into a sleek design; it can recognize the home and take care of things that are valuable to customers, such as earphones or an expensive vase. In the informational “Customer Care” videos created, iRobot teaches customers how to use and care for iRobot Roomba vacuums in their homes—including how to replace the vacuum battery—by providing detailed but simple, easy-to-follow instructions.

The shoot took place at a residential location in Cohasset, MA. With the help of talented Prop Stylist Suzanne Lee, Tim and his team created a warm environment for these how-to videos. Keep scrolling to see some of the behind-the-scenes of the video.

Director Tim Llewellyn Shoots for iRobot

iRobot. So you can human.

The team at Motiv Design commissioned Boston based Director Tim Llewellyn, along with his production company Copper Hound Pictures, to help iRobot launch their new j7 Roomba robot vacuum. The team shot over the course of two days, capturing interviews with lead designers as well as extensive B-roll throughout the iRobot HQ.

The goal of the shoot was to create something inspirational that gives a deeper background and understanding of iRobot’s j7 product, its new design, why it was created, and the ultimate benefits to the consumer. Through a combination of product focused video and interview style narratives with the team that created the j7, Tim and his team helped position iRobot as the leader in Robotic floorcare and give audiences insight into the company’s mission while maintaining a unique and authentic brand voice. Photographer Emily Kan Shoots HOOD 175th Anniversary Campaign

Drinking milk in the school cafeteria during lunch as a kid is perhaps one of everyone’s most nostalgic childhood memories. To help HOOD celebrate its 175th anniversary as New England’s premier provider of delicious, high-quality dairy foods and beverages with the world, Boston-based food photographer Emily Kan teamed up with HATCH The Agency to create original imagery that commemorates the company’s history of innovation and delivering good to the community.

In a day full of clinking milk glasses, Emily Kan and a team of adorable hand models created “family cheers” imagery to capture HOOD’s mission of creating fun for the whole family. In addition, Emily captured product shots of HOOD’s new milk jug labels. The final campaign ran in both full-page newspaper print and online digitally in the Boston Globe on the iconic HOOD-red background.

Photographer David Butler was back in the studio for Wild Leaf Hard Tea, this time capturing their new cans. David, along with stylists Erin Riley and Monica Mariano explored the “Wildly Refreshing” concept with a jungle of fresh tea leaves and dynamic splashes. Healthcare Photographer Tim Llewellyn Shoots for Ariadne Labs

Healthcare photography provides many opportunities for powerful storytelling and this is what photographer Tim Llewellyn has focused his career on.

Last month, Tim and his team had the honor of traveling, with Ariadne Labs, to Costa Rica to document the country’s Primary Healthcare System. They captured doctors, nurses, administrators and patients from the norther to southern borders and from coast to coast.

A collaboration between the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Ariadne Labs is a Boston based healthcare innovation center that is focused on using real world data, a rigorous scientific approach and best practices to uncover and share programs that improve patient care around the world. This product pours craft cocktails at the push of a button and it’s amazing. Brought to market by Keurig Dr Pepper and Anheuser Busch, the new Drinkworks machine serves dozens of different drinks, all from the comfort of your own home.

The team at Motiv Design tapped Boston product and beverage photographer David Butler to capture all of their beautiful concepts for the package design, digital marketing and point of sale. David and his team have shot more than 14 days, over the course of a year, to bring this machine and the cocktails to life. David captured everything from the product in situation to splashing cosmopolitan, beverage details on colored seamless , cinemagraphs of talent toasting and even some gorgeous new concepts that we can’t yet share! Tim Llewellyn Captures Patient Stories for Mass General Hospital

Tim Llewellyn and his team at Copper Hound Pictures is proud to have been selected by Mass General Hospital and Anderson Digital 2020 to create a series of still images and videos featuring the stories of real patients for the Transplant Center at MGH.

Over a series of days, Tim captured interviews and b-roll of the patients in their homes and on location at MGH. The final edits give the viewer a front row seat as these patients recount their journeys and doctors explain the life-saving surgeries.

Tim Llewellyn captures still photography and video for clients in the healthcare and biotech industries, as well as general portraiture and lifestyle imagery. He has worked in Boston, New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Costa Rica and Paris, among others.

Both artists followed alongside as craftsmen, in the Massachusetts factory, created gilded, hand-lettered and perfectly edged stationery.
